Rest-day basics: sleep, mobility and rest days
Sleep
Needs vary from person to person; NHS guidance generally puts most adults somewhere between 6 and 9 hours a night. A regular bedtime and a dark, cool room are good starting points.
Rest days
Plan them rather than waiting until you are worn out. Light activity such as walking still counts.
Mobility
A few minutes of gentle stretching most days keeps you moving well. If something hurts, stop and get it checked.
Make the evening count
A long bath, a candle and your phone in another room. Our kits put the pieces together.
